In compliance with environmental protection regulations and to create a clean, green, and pleasant workplace, on October 22, 2025, S.I E&C Viet Nam’s Safety Department implemented a waste and hazardous waste separation program at source.
Proper waste segregation helps with collection, recycling, and treatment in accordance with legal standards, while also reflecting each employee’s sense of responsibility toward our shared working environment.
At the company, waste and other materials are categorized into the following main groups:
- Household Waste:
Includes daily waste such as lunch boxes, used paper, shredded paper, milk cartons, paper juice boxes, newspapers, magazines, product packaging, plastic bags, and foam wrappers. - Recyclable Non-Hazardous Waste:
Includes bottles, cans, plastic containers, cardboard boxes, and other clean, reusable materials. - Industrial and Scrap Waste:
Includes materials, packaging, and by-products generated during the production process, collected separately according to internal regulations. - Hazardous Waste:
Includes used batteries, fluorescent lamps, paint, solvents, waste oil and lubricants, oily rags or gloves, and containers contaminated with chemicals.
These must be collected and stored separately in designated containers with warning labels to ensure safety and comply with environmental regulations.
The company encourages all employees to dispose of waste in the correct bins according to the provided instructions.
Every small action today contributes to a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable working environment for the future.
